As a family-owned clinic, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly, comfortable and nurturing environment for all patients, young and old alike. Equipped with modern facilities and a supportive environment, our team at South Morang Smiles will always look after you. After all, our aim is to work holistically together in order to improve the oral health and wellbeing of the community.
We are also conveniently located in Central South Morang, across from Westfield Plenty Valley Shopping Centre. We work in conjunction with an inhouse Optometrist and are close to various fresh food grocers, restaurants, cafés and beauty retailers.

Dr. Akib brings a wealth of experience to the team at South Morang Smiles, having worked in both public and private sectors across Tasmania, Queensland and Victoria. Fuelled by a commitment to deliver exceptional patient care, Akib strives towards continual professional development. Since obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in Cairns, Akib has completed a comprehensive orthodontics course, and is an accredited Spark™ Clear Aligner provider.
Dr. Akib is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, with a keen interest in minimally invasive restorative work, root canal therapy and orthodontics. Compassion lies at the heart of Dr. Akib’s practice. He is dedicated to providing an enjoyable patient experience, which is illustrated in his meticulous attention to detail and the assurance that his patients’ primary concerns are met.
Dr. Akib’s cool, calm and collected approach is a welcome sight for patients who might be feeling afraid and anxious of visiting the dentist. When not working, Dr. Akib enjoys watching football and cricket and spending quality time with his wife and son. Akib is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
Originally from the sunny state of Queensland, Aaishah completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry from Griffith University, Gold Coast. Since moving to Victoria a few years ago, Aaishah has worked in private practice throughout the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Aaishah holds a special interest in restorative and preventive dentistry. She particularly enjoys working with her patients to restore tooth function, appearance and overall confidence. Known for her calm demeanour and gentle touch, Aaishah strives to make every patient’s experience a friendly and enjoyable one.
She is passionate about helping patients help themselves, with a focus on patient education and disease prevention. After all, Aaishah believes a healthy and happy smile is a stepping stone into becoming the best version of oneself. Aaishah is also fluent in Urdu and Hindi, and can understand Punjabi. When she’s not talking teeth, Aaishah enjoys spending time with family and friends, whether it be exploring cafés or watching a good movie. She also loves travelling and escaping to the outdoors with her husband and son.
